Doris S. Moon
On July 17, 2010, with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Lawrence and sister, Rita Kress. She is survived by her four loving children, Lawrence C. (Sharon) Moon, Jr. of Madison, CT, Richard (Linda) Moon of Henrietta, NY, Anne (William) Rife of Irondequoit, NY, John Moon of Kingston, NY; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Harold (Sheila) Shults; sisters, Margaret (Chuck) Teschner & Barbara Jane Lyng. Doris graduated from Brockport State Teachers College with a Bachelors Degree.
Family and friends are invited to call at Miller Funeral Homes, Inc. (3325 Winton Road South) on WEDNESDAY from 3– 5 & 7–9 PM. (Click here for map) Doris’ funeral service will be celebrated in the First Presbyterian Church of Pittsford (21 Church St.) on THURSDAY at 11 AM with a reception immediately following the service (Click here for map). Interment Private.
